Daffodils and dandelions

So, Dave has this thing where he accidentally tends to call daffodils "dandelions." That wouldn't be so bad, except when he comments to others about how beautiful the dandelions are that are growing in their flower beds...

Anyway, daffodils also happen to be Erin's favorite flowers, so we traveled to Lake Oswego yesterday for the annual Oregon Daffodil Society Daffodil Show. After seeing all of the different varieties, we've compiled a list of specialty hybrids we want to include in our own garden someday. Above are some photos we took of the daffodil gardens outside of the exhibit (we forgot to take our camera inside where the actual "show" flowers were). Enjoy!

Hey, we're glad you guys found us so we could find you! :) Congratulations on your little girl coming soon. We totally understand about wanting the timing to be right (like you mentioned in a different post) -- hope it works out for you. Can't wait to see pictures when she arrives.

Hey, found you! You look adorable! Megan is a gorgeous name. So is Ally (however you are going to spell it) but I just thought I'd throw that out there. The daffodils are lovely. Uh! Gorgeous, wish you were here!
